Corporations should not be able to buy up all the homes. It's breaking what used to be called "the American Dream". Corporate greed is the reason for inflated home prices.

It's kinda crazy... My boy has been trying to buy a house for a couple months.. he's put in 20-30 offers... It seems the new standard is no va loan, no inspections and whatever the listed price is will sell for 50+ thousand dollars.... It's a crazy time to buy a house.. i also think inspections should be mandatory then both parties can proceed as is from there... Instead of over paying for a house then possibly having extensive repairs the new homeowner can afford.... It's also scary because flippers know that inspections are waived - they will be further incentivized to only do cosmetic repairs and no structural... Even crazier that this is done on hundreds of thousand of dollars
The actual unemployment rate is much higher. Once an unemployed person is no longer receiving unemployment benefits, they are removed from the unemployment tally/count.
You need to add expensive home insurance and tax too.
It’s almost as if there’s no more “middle class”. You either got it or you don’t and it’s harder to just be comfortable in the middle.
We shouldn’t allow corporations to buy residential properties. Period
Those house prices are just way too high. Better to rent than to buy at this time.
Home prices are rising at least where I live.
