It is hard to save and invest when even renting costs are through the roof.
Aren't houses being bought by all these private companies messing things up as well?
Because people and companies with excess wealth are using it to snatch homes away from those who need them, and ransom them back at five times the mortgage or more. Just looking at local examples.
Sadly you cant get a single family home for $412k in my area that is a townhouse
Simple answer = Wall Street is parked in real estate. Americans didn’t have to compete with big corp 20 years ago 😢
The only reason foreclosures haven't hit the market is all the government intervention. This summer will be totally different. Then by fall all the VA foreclosures will hit.
What's confusing to me is the west coast market. Rising crime, drug overdoses, and people moving out. Yet home prices rise anyway.
Saw an advertisement for a 2024 jeep renegade for only 100 thousand on marketplace the other day. Who can afford a house when cars are the price of of houses were 40 years ago?
