It's funny to think about how much is going on just so we can watch people sprint up and down a court for 48 minutes

Having messed around with these at baseball games in the past, it is most definitely not easy whatsoever. It's incredibly easy to get lost in the hectic nature of the broadcast with people shouting in your ears and everyone having to work in unison, to be able to consistently pull off these camera moves at the same time is extremely impressive. Going inside the broadcast truck as a kid blew my goddamn mind and was one of the main drivers to work in that type of field. Live production directors and producers don't get enough credit, they have to do this on the fly every single night and every little mistake now becomes a meme on social media. LOCKED IN

"if its done right, nobody's gonna notice it" probably the best line in the video... as an IT guy myself, and millions all around, when everything runs smooth, they are undervalued...

I've been a broadcast engineer my whole career and all I can say is that you did an amazing job with explaining "to the normies" how things work. It's funny how it feels a bit surreal to see "my job" being covered in this channel. Amazing vid!

As a broadcast camera operator of 13 years, I've definitely heard my fair share of "what's so hard about it?" comments. Always nice to see someone take the time to learn how much skill it takes and why it's so much more complicated than people think.

I've worked in broadcast for about five years now and have been a fan of this channel for a little longer, and it's crazy you've made a video covering my job. No one really understands all that goes into putting on a live show, and you did a great job of explaining the basics. Great work, as always! (Next time, give some love to us graphics operators!)
