Description

Is there a hidden communication bridge between your body fat and your muscles? In this video, we break down a groundbreaking study published in Cell Metabolism that explores how S1PC—a rare metabolite found in Aged Garlic Extract (AGE)—activates a specific metabolic pathway to combat age-related frailty. Unlike standard NAD+ precursors like NMN or NR, S1PC works by signaling adipose tissue to release the enzyme eNAMPT. This enzyme travels to the hypothalamus, triggering a nervous system response that optimizes mitochondrial efficiency in skeletal muscle. We discuss the synergistic effects of combining S1PC with NMN, the surprising discovery that a BMI below 18.5 may negate these benefits, and the molecular reasons why raw garlic won't yield the same results. We also take a transparent look at the study’s clinical data in humans and the current patent filings behind this emerging longevity therapeutic. Does our modern obsession with low body fat interfere with our body's natural signaling for strength? Let's dive into the data. Thank you so much for the work you do bringing new studies to our attention. This will be the second experiment I do based on studies I saw here first. The first was the Harvard lithium oratate study to treat my mothers dementia , which has worked.

I considered taking aged garlic but hesitant with the blood thinning effects as i am already taking fish oil and berberine.

Thanks, interesting video—first I’ve heard of S1PC. Bummed to find out at the end that the levels in fresh garlic are so low.

Yes, I think we do indeed focus too much on being lean. The trend seems to encourage people to be far leaner than they would naturally be even with an active lifestyle. I think we need to pay attention to how Nature shaped us a bit more. Superb video. Thank you.
