Tonight: CENTCOM said it carried out a ‘proportional response to unjustified Iranian aggression’ after President Trump said the Iranian regime shot down a U.S. Apache helicopter. Two crew members were rescued by an unmanned drone boat. Plus in Texas, 19-year-old Karmelo Anthony was found guilty of murder for killing another teen at a high school track meet last year. And off the Florida panhandle, a violent shark attack caught on camera left a man fighting for his life. Authorities say two staff members from a naval facility in Panama City went for a swim when the shark attacked one of them. And finally, in our series “The Cost of Denial” NBC News’ Kate Snow meets with the parents who decided to keep their daughter in a specialized mental health care facility despite knowing it didn’t take insurance.
