Australia's deadliest creatures are politicians.
Australia does NOT have free healthcare, this is a myth perpetuated decades ago. Today we pay out of pocket all the time. It's extremely rare to find any bulk billing these days..
Australia is a beautiful place but if you're not independently wealthy, you'll be a financial slave here.
It astonishes me how butt hurt a lot of Australians get if you dare question the rhetoric that 'Australia is the best place in the world'. And yet we readily accuse the Americans of being brainwashed! Australia WAS the best place in the world, up to about the year 2000, give or take.
Asians want to move to Australia & Australians want to move to Asia.
Moving from Australia to Malaysia in a few days. I cant wait 😊
Haven't been on the channel in a while; haven't seen any of Andrew's videos in a few months... been out living my life.... but I just want to pass on to anyone perhaps new to the topic of overseas living that even though Andrew targets the entrepreneur set, the principles he espouses can and do work across the wealth spectrum. I myself am nowhere near the 7-8-9 figure wealth bracket but I still live very comfortably in several overseas locales. A bit of planning and adapting and you'd really be amazed at what you can have! I'm really more of a slow traveler than a nomad capitalist and Andrew's isn't my model but he was one of the first ones I stumbled upon some years back who talked about foreign living and has been an inspiration ever since. Picked up a lot of valuable information along the way!
I relocated from Australia to Mexico, and now I export Mexican products to Australia while also building beach houses for European and American clients. Life here is fantastic. The media tends to exaggerate the issues in remote areas, but overall, it’s a wonderful place to live. I have no regrets about my decision.
What I dislike the most in Australia is the very old school ways of working and thinking. The world and especially Asia has moved so far ahead.
Have left since the lockdowns. The worst public transport, esp in Melbourne. House prices and rentals insanely expensive and not worth it. I keep traveling around Europe and go back once a year to see family/friends.
