American here. I've lived in Costa Rica for 31 years and I love it. I'm retired and live a tranquil and healthy lifestyle in the central valley where it's a higher altitude and therefore cooler temps. People are so friendly here!
It amazes me that individuals think they should live tax free when it is the taxes that pay for the infrastructure that they use and receive benefits, such as safe bridges and drinking water.
1 Chile 2 Uruguay (11 years tax free) 3 Paraguay 4 C R 5 Mexico 6 D R thank you for sharing your knowledge. Love your channel
I wouldn't consider living in Chile because of the earthquakes. There are great tax and citizenship conditions, but earthquakes don't choose specific locations to hit - they just hit. The Ganziantep earthquake in 2023 in Turkiye showed how earthquake-resistant skyscrapers could collapse. Uruguay is the most attractive option so far.
I am surprised that Panama did not make the list.
I’ve heard Uruguay isn’t safe - people are still scarred to go out with their phone
I'd love to hear more about DR, what is currently doing to invite investors and what could they do to improve.
i'm latino american and moving back, the issue is that a lot of countries in latin america have become colonized again. this time not by europe, but by asia.
Honduras seems to be very tax efficient on foreign income. Definitely another consideration.
Chile, Uruguay, Paraguay, Costa Rica, Mexico, Dominican Republic
