One of the best visas is also something that The Philippines just recently rolled out and it is severely overlooked. The Philippines offers some of the best and most benefits for people who are tourists or short term stayers.Whereas in Thailand or Malaysia you have invest a certain amount of funds to buy the visa and to invest into property. But The Philippines has recently rolled out a new visa policy specfically for short term stayers. If you pay $30 you can stay in The Philippines for 30 days.If you pay $65 you can stay in The Philippines for up to 60 days and if you pay $90 days you can stay in The Philippines for not 90 days not 180 days but up to 365 days😅.
Thailand has the 10 year pensioner LTR visa. The fee is $1,500 for 10 years. You qualify with $80,000/yr passive income. The money you bring into Thailand is not taxed. I’ve had the pensioner LTR since January 2023.
These countries change the rules of the game all the time
In vietnam now, loving it!
Thanks Andrew! Still not there yet! But working at it. What you offer people has immense value and I’ve been following you a long time!
Very timely Andrew. I would like to return to my former country of Cambodia 🇰🇭 to live part time and glad you’re monitoring this option. I visited Singapore, Vietnam and Cambodia this past year and of course would prefer Cambodia even though it’s not as developed as neighboring countries.
Great video... Outstanding information...Buona Pasqua.. Happy Easter.❤
If you’re an immigrant like us — someone who already has foreign citizenship, a house, and solid work experience — honestly, Southeast Asia makes a lot more sense now. We spent 2 years slow traveling through the region, and our quality of life was way better than what we had back in the West — and at 60% less cost. Places like Malaysia and Vietnam are stepping up! If you’ve already done the hard work of "making it" as an immigrant, maybe it’s time to enjoy life somewhere that actually rewards you for it.
My hometown, I am glad that they open up to foreigners for long term residence.
Thanks Andrew
