The guard instantly teleporting and hovering to assert dominance is peak Oblivion.
I love that they've managed to make it so beautiful and yet somehow maintained how uncanny and hideous it needs to be to feel like the OG game.
This game is so surreal 😭 the most iconic thing about oblivion is the dialogue so its so funny to have all the updated graphics and animations with the same funny ass dialogue
0:17 authentic oblivion experience
2:53 the guard here nods in real time answering Charlie's question, and him flying in from above with that pose is peak Oblivion goofiness.
7:23 “I’ve done it again” “Okay so ya did it again, what do ya want from me a hug?” 😂😂
I'm glad that whoever made this clearly recognized one of Oblivion's most enduring charms... incredible silliness. Thanks for not fixing stuff too much.
4:30 "The Emperor is dead, and so are his heirs. That's really funny!"
Funniest thing you can do, is do the main quest up until Jauffre and Martin follow you for the Sky Ruler Temple escort quest, dont take them there, instead go back to chorrol and go do the Jermaine brothers quest up untill you have to escort them to their childhood home and dont finish it, take them as part of your posse. Now take all 4 to the Arena and get the adoring fan. Then do the rest of the guild quests for the lulz. And take your party on a grand adventure to the Shivering Isles.
