My theory is they gave advanced notice to give viewbotting channels time to adjust and tone down for the same reason why theyre implementing it over coming "weeks" If they did it suddenly, and it was largely verifiable that view botting was a massive problem on the site, advertisers would pull out en masse because it would reveal that their ad dollars have been getting dumped into viewerships that dont exist. Theyre announcing it ahead and rolling it out slowly to obfuscate that data.
I swear I didn't do it.
Amazon finally doing this because they realize bots don’t watch their 8 consecutive ads and advertisers are finally getting mad
I thought this was about the unfair and inconsistent use of TOS for banning streamers. **glances at Hasan**
Twitch fighting viewbotting in 2025 is like finally taking out the trash after the raccoons already built a condo in it.
The title made me think they were finally going to ban Hasan. This problem is miniscule compared to him.
On the mention of bots. YouTube bots are getting out of hand. They're in every comment section at this point.
Me: Sees title, 'Oh are they perma banning Hasan?' Charlie: 'Viewbotting' Me: My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined.
i thought they finally address the hasan problem. wishful thinking
"We're doing something; please, clap"
