Short Summary
- The 2001 film excels in energetic action choreography, benefiting from early 2000s cinematic style, despite a weak villain.
- The 2003 sequel, Cradle of Life, severely degrades visual effects quality while repeating weak character dynamics.
- The 2018 reboot earns credit for adapting source material faithfully but suffers from depicting a struggling, quirky protagonist.

We all know why your dad wanted to watch Tomb Raider. And no one will blame him.
0:00 The Moist One begins speaking Critically.
The 2000s tomb raider will always be my favorite. The soundtrack slaps which i think big beat and drum & bass should come back because of this film. Both films aren't avengers endgame quality but they hit what 2000s was similar to the mummy
so there's a parallel universe where Charlie is losing his eye permanently and making contents with an eyepatch
Dude just casually telling us about a dog biting his eye 😂 1:25
Bro, we both know your dad saw the trailer for tomb raider with Angelina Jolie running and he threw out his no video game movie rule out so fast….
I think the reason these movies look better than the DC movies is they’re mostly physical objects with some terrible CGI but all the DC movies were mostly terrible CGI with some physical objects
Fun fact: Angelina did a lot of her own stunts. She was the only person out of her stunt actors that could do the Pendulum swing
3:50 thats is DEDICATION to makeing an accurate adaptation, i actually gotta respect and appreciate that personally.
im confused, they claimed the review? isnt that EXACTLY what they're NOT allowed to claim? 😭
