So like, why does an animated show need an anime?
The rick and morty anime being called "a fanfiction of someone who never watched the show" fits so well for sum reason
This shit look like what Mordecai and Rigby saw when they drunk the Mississippi Queen.
As an animation student, it felt like one of the projects they ask us to do and we forget about it up until a week up to the deadline
Why the hell does it look like a teenagers first try at animation by tracing over references that only vaguely fit together
So Rick and Morty: The Anime resembles neither Rick and Morty nor anime.
Maybe this is a social experiment. “How badly can we make something til people stop watching it?”
Animation budget was 10 Shmeckels
Doesn't even look like anime. Looks like an awkward redraw of the original show.
The thing I hate the most about this first episode of the show is that it's titled "Girl Who Manipulates Time", yet the titular girl who manipulates time is nowhere near as significant to the episode as the title may suggest. Maybe she becomes more significant to the series, but by then that's just bad introduction. She's a mere joke-gag sized speck in the confusing mess that is this episode.
