Black Myth Wukong is An Easy Game

I didn't think I'd ever say this but I much prefer gameplay videos without him streaming. It's so nice to not have him responding to chat half the time

i’m not sure how people could be upset about his titles when he’s been using this title format for years and it’s a well known joke in the community

A fun journey to the West lore. Black Wind Demon, or the Bear Demon was the first major enemy Wukong and Xuanzang faced (discounting the corrupt Monk Elder Jinchi) in the original story. The Bear Demon is a interesting and complex character. While he was the one who corrupted Jinchi, albeit accidentally and indirectly. He was a genuine friend to Jinchi. He was also one of the few major demon lords who doesnt eat humans nor seek Xuanzang's flesh. The Black Wind demon was initially a bear who gain sentience via cultivation magic, and learning the mystic. When he encountered Jinchi, he developed a genuine friendship with him, via his magic Jinchi became rich, and even learnt mystics to prolong his life to a unnatural 270 years old.The Bear demon had no ulterior motives, he showered Jinchi with gold and taboo magic only out of generiosity, but effectively stray him away from Buddhism with greed. When Jinchi and his corrupt disciples (Guangmo and Guangzhi) tried to murder Xuanzang and Wukong out of greed for his Kesaya (a piece of buddhism toga that is part of their robe) via arson. Wukong blew their flames back at them, resulting in the guanyin temple burning down. When the temple burn down, Black Wind Demon's first instince was to rush down the mountains to take out the flames, but upon setting eyes upon Xuanzang's kesaya, he stole it and ran off. Leaving the Jinchi Monks to their own fate. Elder Jinchi ill covet treasures all burnt down, but because he cant find Xuanzangs kesaya, he commited not alive but bashing his head on the ground. Which is why the golden big head monks main attack is a headbutt. Later Black Bear held a banquet to view the kesaya. But longstory short, Wukong crashed the party and beat him up. Guan Yin, or Bodhisvatta, the female Buddha showed up and took him in as a disciple to redeem him. Which it did. In Black myth, Black Wind Demon returning to the mountain to rebuilt the temple and restore the charred scriptures is a way of feeling guilt towards his own actions in the temple fire incident, as well as for his late friend. And it also explain why he went ballistic at us the player, the Destined one. He was also dressed as a buddhist monk by the time of this game, because this was him after converting into buddhism under Guanyin. Which is weird that he was a "Yaoguai King" as he long abandoned his warlording and demonic way by the time of this story. If it had been a regular monk, human or passerby, the Black Bear Demon, the demon grunts, White Snake man, Guangmo and Guangchi would have mostly left them alone.

I like that they intended for the yellow wind sage to be a roadblock with the lesson of keep exploring and come back to it. But the legend here just clears it in 4 tries
