It’s so bad Pokemon themselves have come out and apologized for not meeting demand and are apparently printing as many new packs of the set as their machines will allow to hopefully meet demand. I wish the scalpers a very forced to take a loss after the reprints come out.

You know how at the supermarket they put the milk and eggs at the furtherest point from the door? Costco should do the same with the Pokemon. Maybe set up hurdles and traps along the way to impede the mob. Then when they get to the register hit them with, "Sorry, limit of one per customer per day, we'll just take these off your hands and put them out later." just to watch them cry.

bro said " I fought for those boxes" like he literally just did the greatest thing known to man. Greatest moment from that guys entire pathetic existence, doing a goddam battle royale for some pokemon boxes is wild. Imagine a random 5 year old just wanting one box.

Solution: Limit one per customer. Customers may buy a 2nd product if they can pass 5 rounds of "Who's that Pokemon?"

My local comic book store sells these types of boxes and the owner who runs it has a strict policy of one per customer, though if someone is a known collector or a regular parent that he knows is getting for their kids he makes exceptions. If someone is obviously a scalper he just permabans them from his store outright, the dude has a wall of shame that’s been tripled in size since the quarantine caused a scalp-splosion in the trading card scene.

I wish people were this motivated to do something positive

having to be told no running by the employees as an adult is just shameful 🤦‍♂️
