Imagine having to explain to the other inmates you’re in for armed robbery stealing Pokèmon cards.

I don't remember when this was, but one shop had their prices upped by 1000% so anything stolen would actually carry HEAVY consequences for anyone who stole it. They'd just give you a 1000% discount for actually paying for it.

These scalpers are some of the saddest individuals alive

You smash and grab $5,000 at a jewelry store, the cops are like "this is a really serious crime!!" You smash and grab $50,000 at a card shop, the cops roll their eyes and go "lmao whatever"

Its sad how everything fun from my childhood is now a profit machine. Sports, originally games for fun, is nothing more than legalized gambling. Children's games now get store owners pistol whipped by thieves stealing what are originally meant to be toys. 😢

The fact that authorities aren’t taking ARMED ROBBERY seriously because of what they’re stealing is sickening. It shouldn’t matter if it’s jewelry or cards, if it’s worth the same value, if not more, then the crimes should be taken SERIOUSLY!
