"MoistCritikal slams Dexerto for worthless, superficial articles" -Dexerto tomorrow
"This is low bar" [Literally farts] Never change, Charlie.
Can't wait for their AI to pick up this video for an article not realizing you're roasting them.
Those toots felt like something out of a South Park episode
i had an article pop up when i opened google titled something along the lines of "Family guy creator Seth Mcfarlane announces end of family guy" then when i clicked on it they literally say "Seth has no plans on ending family guy anytime soon". its not even clickbait anymore its just lying.
Quotas. I've interviewed for a position with Dexerto and their expectations are wild: - 15 articles per week - Must pitch all your own work - Must self-edit They don't seem to really care about quality, they just want you churning out content as quickly and frequently as possible for that sweet, sweet ad revenue. If you fall off your chair and projectile shit a turd onto your ceiling, you bet that will be an article. I feel bad for the "journalists" who are really just trying to earn some extra revenue and get their name out there.
My local newspaper once published an article about my grandfather playing (not even winning) a lottery ticket.
Browsing news articles w/o an ad blocker should be considered a punishment
You want to talk about ads, I've been seeing this on youtube. I've been noticing lately that youtube seems to prioritize their advertizers over their viewers. Before, they were trying to play 4 ads in one break by restarting the page after 2 ads ran through in order to play 2 more, and all 4 are unskippable. Then they added that feature where even if you skip the first ad, instead of going to the video like it should it takes you to the next ad. Now they're putting ad banners even after you watch it at the bottom of the video screen, and you cant exit it out like it used to back in the day, its just there and you have to deal with it. This is ludicrous
Why is "harassing" in quotation marks? It *_is_* harassment.
