It’s actually crazy to me that they have the audacity to play ads when a video is paused and call it an experience
Youtube is starting to become like one of those sketchy sites you have to get through 30 layers of ads to use it
-Gives us NSFW virus ads -prevents use of adblockers -makes ads play when videos are paused “Why do people hate us?”
I love it when YouTube advertises actual NSFW scam shit and has the audacity to actively antagonize anyone who is using an ad blocker to avoid getting viruses. It's especially awful given how fucking frequent ads show up today. The Adpocalypse looks like paradise in comparison to today.

Fun fact: even the literal FBI recommends people to use ad blockers because of how often ads are used to commit identity theft and other digital crimes. YouTube and Twitch would rather put their users at risk than lose a tiny bit of money from adblockers.
