It’s sucks because kickstarter used to be something that gave small ambitious projects an opportunity to become a reality, but it’s been plagued with people using it for this stuff, like Charlie said, it’s the death of everything authentic

I'm getting tired of reading AI generated item descriptions on ebay. Sellers are too lazy to write anything themselves so now I gotta read a paragraph of a robot glazing an inanimate object to see if the seller snuck anything into the item description such as "listing does not include [random item included in photos]" or "item does not work"

7:08 For the PuffPals Kickstarter, they got so much because they got big selling plushies first, I have a few of them. I never invested in the Kickstarter but apparently it was going well at first, regular updates and such, but then they got less and less updates, large portions of the game had to be scrapped and redone, and one of the co-owners allegedly ran off with the rest of the money, leaving the project in limbo. I believe he's getting sued. Crazy to see one of my niche interests reach Charlie's desk
