Is Evil Dead Burn Any Good

The one scene towards the latter half where it’s just one continuous shot of Alice trying to get away and hide while Joseph’s father brutalizes Joseph in the background was amazing

"I did still like it" Alright, I've heard enough. I'm still sold.

They really spent the whole movie cooking up legendary practical effects only to render the final boss on a Nintendo GameCube

It’s funny how I know Charlie at least mildly enjoyed a movie because he remembers all the main characters names 😂😂😂

The grandma was low-key so funny throughout the film, had me cackling

The bathroom sequence with Alice and the mother had insane camera work

that car crash to nightclub transition was generational.

Same thoughts here. The choreographed one-shot fight scenes in this movie were actually pretty good too. It looked like the actors did their own stunts

The next one, Evil Dead Wrath, is supposed to be a prequel of the original story, so I think they're gonna change the formula at least a little.

I feel like the Deadites were good but they never quite reached the level of memorable Deadite like Ellie or Mia in the previous movies. Even by costume design. The headrest look was the most iconic look but it only lasts for a limited amount of time in this movie.
