22:57 "Is this why every boy became obsessed with nunchucks?" Pretty much! ๐คฃ๐คฃ
The key to immortality is first living a life worth remembering. -Bruce Lee
Enter the Dragon was a big deal back then! Bruce Lee got a lot of hate from his own community for teaching martial arts to outsiders (white people), which was seen as breaking tradition. Then he went and made a movie that wasnโt just about cool fight scenes. It smashed racial barriers, flipped Hollywood stereotypes and brought martial arts to the mainstream. That brought him even more hate. For a lot of people in the 70s, this was the first time they ever saw an Asian lead being smart, confident and straight up unstoppable, as opposed to how Hollywood usually portrayed Asian characters: quiet sidekicks, comic relief or shady villains.
โBoards donโt hit backโ. Love that line.
""You have offended my family and you have offended the Shaolin Temple" I've never forgotten that line.
Boys weren't the only ones obsessed with nunchucks after this movie. They were sold everywhere. Most kids had them. I got pretty good!
R.I.P Bruce Lee and Brandon Lee.. Both great actors and human beings
This isn't a cult film, it's a CLASSIC. โคโคโคโค
To think pretty much the entire cast of this movie is deceased, with the exception of Bolo Yeung, is so sad ๐ข.
R.I.P. Lalo Schifrin (6/21/32 to 6/26/25) who composed the Enter the Dragon soundtrack.
