Coy Jandreau & John Humphrey return for the next chapter of DC's epic animated trilogy with their Reaction, Recap, Commentary, and Spoiler Review of Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths – Part Two (2024), directed by Jeff Wamester. Picking up from the cataclysmic events of Part One, this installment finds the multiverse on the brink of annihilation as the Justice League races to stop the Anti-Monitor’s plan to erase all existence. With Earths collapsing and timelines unraveling, the League must rally heroes from across the multiverse in a desperate stand for survival. Darren Criss (Glee, Hollywood) returns as Superman, taking on a leadership role alongside Stana Katic (Castle, Absentia) as Wonder Woman in a war that spans multiple Earths. Jensen Ackles (Supernatural, The Boys) delivers a gritty performance as Batman, coordinating resistance efforts in a fractured multiverse. Meg Donnelly (Zombies, The Winchesters) brings complexity to Supergirl / Harbinger, while Aldis Hodge (Black Adam, Leverage), Jimmi Simpson (Westworld), and Ike Amadi (Halo) portray Green Lantern, Green Arrow, and Martian Manhunter respectively. Part Two features several highly searched and talked-about moments, including the League’s explosive assault on the Anti-Monitor’s fortress, heartbreaking multiversal character deaths, and the show-stopping arrival of the Spectre, voiced by Lou Diamond Phillips (La Bamba, Prodigal Son). The film's emotional highlight arrives when Barry Allen attempts to stitch broken timelines back together in a sequence packed with fan-favorite cameos, cosmic visuals, and pulse-pounding action. With each moment building toward the final confrontation, Crisis on Infinite Earths – Part Two delivers emotional stakes, character growth, and multiverse-shattering consequences. Join Coy and John as they break down every mind-blowing twist, heartfelt farewell, and epic team-up in this penultimate chapter!! #JusticeLeague #CrisisOnInfiniteEarths #DCAnimation #MattBomer #DarrenCriss #JensenAckles #MegDonnelly #Multiverse #AntiMonitor #Flash #Superman #WonderWoman #DCTrilogy #CoyJandreau #JohnHumphrey #AnimatedMovie Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths - Part 1 Movie Reaction: https://youtu.be/5qqE-3hZ9Fc Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (Ultimate Edition) Movie Reaction: https://youtu.be/YBXA9PAxcXs All-Star Superman (2011) Movie Reaction: https://youtu.be/Bm_-zHiNhjY Superman: The Movie (1978) Coy's Movie Reaction: https://youtu.be/mlubceOmcz0 The Batman 2 Finally Happening! The black man in the green and yellow costume was Amazing Man. While his adventures were set in the 1940s, he was a product of the 1980s (He was part of The All Star Squadron, which was set during WW II). William "Will" Blake Everett, was named after a writer of the Golden age (He created Namor: The Submariner, and helped create Iron Fist) and that writer's golden age creation Amazing Man (who was a precursor to Iron Fist). His powers were to mimic the properties of anything he touched. Sort of like the Absorbing Man from Marvel. During the comic book Crisis On Infinite Earths his powers were altered so that he, instead, had powers of magnetism.

31:30 I will be forever grateful to whomever arranged for Erika Ishii (playing Doctor Light) to say, "I bet you read Ayn Rand unironically," to a Steve Ditko character.

GL: "My name is John!" Constantine: "Why did you say that name??"

That conversation between Batman and his alternate protégés is really great and I love that they talk about it.

I love that they brought back Will Friedle to play Batman Beyond. Wish he had more lines.

You do not want to live on Krypton. Considering our sun, atmosphere and gravity gives Superman all those abilities, I assume the opposite would happen to a human on Krypton. You'd be crushed under your own weight.

The least represented Superman power in all of DC is his super intelligence. Solar radiation amplifies every aspect of Kryptonian physiology, and Superman has been shown to have an insane capability to process and learn information. The comics just use him as a big blue hammer to pound the bad guys, kind of like how the Batman movies focus on his physical capabilities instead of his detective capabilities.
