Spider-Man No Way Home EASTER EGGS & BREAKDOWN REACTION!! (Details You Missed | Ending Explained)

I loved the little detail of Andrew being in his suit when he first shows up and Tobey being in normal clothes. I feel like it's a nod to the discussion of Andrew being the best Spidey to many and Tobey being the best Peter.

The end of this movie broke me. Especially when MJ said “don’t tell me you love me until you find me again.” He didn’t tell them who he was bc he loved them enough to let them live their lives w/o having to share the burden of him being spider man and putting them in danger. That’s a choice idk if I could make.

Ned’s Grandma “Lola” could be a Babaylan or came from a lineage of Babaylans. A Babaylan is a pre-hispanic Filipino shamanistic warrior priestess who is believed to possess mystical powers. Thus Ned’s learning to summon portals easily and could also explain the knives displayed in his Grandma’s house.

So the name of the movie, No Way Home, is a reference about how hard Peter tries to go back to his comfort space where only the people he wanted to knew he was Spider-man, as he mentioned in the videocall with MJ saying "this whole time there's only been 1 week that felt right". With that ending, he finally admits that he has to give up his "home" to protect everyone else, because that's the selflessness that makes Spider-man...well, Spider-man. It hits really hard, and props to the writers and directos for putting so much attention to detail and wrapping up all the spider-man movies together.

Spoilers: my favorite Easter egg was when the three Spider-Man are swinging together towards the final confrontation they land in chronological order: Toby first, followed by Andrew, and ending with Tom.

I'm surprised that he didn't point out the part at the end where Peter walks in to the cafe and he thinks that MJ is looking at him but she's actually looking at Ned behind him, it reminded me of the first Raimi film where MJ waves to her friend behind Peter but he waves back. It could be a coincidence though since that's like a common joke

My favorite Easter egg was May's gravestone epitaph: "When you help someone, you help everyone." Loved that callback to the PS4/PS5 game.

He missed a detail: The quote on Aunt May's gravestone: "When you help someone, you help everyone." is taken directly from Insomniac's Spider-Man game from 2018, where Aunt May's gravestone has that exact same quote by herself. I found that very cool.

The scene after Andrew's spiderman saves MJ and he starts tearing up just broke me. I just couldn't stop crying and the interaction between Tobey's Spiderman and Doc Ock I loved this movie it is so worth the hype.
