This book just turned into a brand new page from the entire Star Wars encyclopedia. This is the way, thanks to Dave, Jon and Bryce.
My one thing I think is funny is how Luke says “take the lightsaber and you’ll be my first student” as a cliff hanger even though everyone knows Ben solo was his first, meaning Grogu definitely picked Din
The Magnificent Seven of Star Wars is here. So many moving plots happening all at once by setting up other character spin-off shows. The Return of Luke Skywalker and Cad Bane voiced by Corey Burton was the highlight of this episode for sure. Cad Bane was icing in the cake. Olyphant's character is not dead and will show up in the finale fight for sure. It's funny you say Mandalorian season 3 and the showrunners said it was The Mandalorian 2.5.
I'll be honest: this is one of the most surprisingly things they have done with Starwars... But I am hoping that the Ahsoka series gives us a flash back how she first met Luke as I was anticipating such a first encounter for a LONG time only to finally see them having already met and been seemingly knowing one another for a bit.
It is nice to know that Ahsoka finally got to learn of Anakin's redemption.
I nearly forgot to mention, let's appreciate the VFX team for their freaking awesome job on Luke's Face. It looked fantastic.

Luke implied that Grogu had a lot of knowledge and training from the Jedi Academy that was somehow mentally suppressed after Order 66. It seems Luke unlocked those memories for Grogu. As he remembers more, I expect we`ll see him exhibit more proficiency with the Force, even if he chooses (as I expect) to go back with the Mandalorian.
"Make sure he's protected." He's such a daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad *sobs* SOMEONE GIVE HIM A HUG GOD DAMMIT.
