as others already informed you, the main guy, Anthony Ramos, was in Hamilton, playing Philip Hamilton and John Laurens. he was also in In The Heights playing a different character, Sonny, in 2012. and again in 2018 playing Usnavi. he was also in *A Star Is Born*, playing Gaga's bff. he's currently working on his music career. his debut album, The Good & The Bad, was released in October. also, fun fact, he's engaged to Jasmine Cephas Jones, who was also in Hamilton playing Peggy and Maria. she is Ron Cephas Jones' daughter

I’ve been obsessed with In the Heights since it was on Broadway and even though I was never able to actually see the show, I know it’s gonna be a HUGE tearjerker and I am READY

I've lived in Washington Heights all my life. Right near the George Washington Bridge you see here. They were filming throughout the neighborhood. Along with Spielberg's West Side Story. Mad props for not filming on artficial sets or another city. I give this trailer 5 piraguas out of 5.

They actually shot this in Washington heights which is where I’m from and man watching them film this was beautiful. Can’t wait for this movie
