THIS IS WHERE THE WAR STOPS FEELING LIKE A STORY… AND HITS HARD. - Full Length Watch Alongs & Early Access: https://www.patreon.com/thereelrejects - BAND OF BROTHERS 1x01 & 1x02 REACTION: https://youtu.be/_J0ewwSfC8s - Gift Someone (Or Yourself) An RR Tee! https://shorturl.at/hekk2 Andrew Gordon & John Humphrey return to Easy Company for one of the most intense and emotionally grounded stretches of the series, bringing you their Band of Brothers Episodes 3 & 4 reaction, recap, commentary, breakdown, analysis, and full spoiler review!! Andrew Gordon & John Humphrey react to and break down Band of Brothers Episodes 3 (Carentan) & 4 (Replacements), the HBO war miniseries produced by Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks, starring Damian Lewis (Homeland, Billions) as Richard Winters, Ron Livingston (Office Space, The Conjuring) as Lewis Nixon, and a standout ensemble including Donnie Wahlberg, Neal McDonough, and a young James McAvoy. Episode 3 drops Easy Company into the brutal battle for Carentan, delivering one of the most immersive combat sequences of the series as the soldiers push through chaos, confusion, and relentless enemy fire. As highlighted in the reaction, the sound design, camera movement, and ground-level perspective make every moment feel immediate and overwhelming, capturing the true intensity of war . At the center of these episodes is Private Blythe’s arc, as he struggles with fear, self-doubt, and survival, leading to a powerful transformation that becomes one of the most talked-about elements in the reaction. His journey reflects the larger theme of the series—ordinary men pushed to their limits in extraordinary circumstances. Episode 4 shifts focus to the arrival of replacements, exploring the tension between seasoned soldiers and inexperienced newcomers while expanding the scope of the war through Operation Market Garden. The episode contrasts moments of temporary relief with sudden violence, including a devastating ambush that reinforces how quickly things can change on the battlefield. From the bonds of Easy Company to the harsh realities of loss and survival, these episodes highlight both the physical and psychological toll of war, building toward a sobering reminder of the cost behind every advance. #BandOfBrothers #BandOfBrothersReaction #HBO #WW2 #EasyCompany #WarDrama #TVReaction #History #StevenSpielberg #tomhanks INGLOURIOUS BASTERDS REACTION: https://youtu.be/c2SeqJ8wYfE LA BAMBA MOVIE REACTION: https://youtu.be/kCc3Bu2OtGs AVATAR: FIRE AND ASH MOVIE REACTION: https://youtu.be/QUhgtmdl8mg Follow *Andrew Gordon* https://www.youtube.com/@MovieSource https://www.instagram.com/agor711/?hl=en https://twitter.com/Agor711 0:00 Checking In! 1:55 Band of Brothers 1x3 25:21 Band of Brothers 1x4 54:43 Band of Brothers Review Intense Suspense by Audionautix is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license. https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/ RR Clips & Shorts Channel: https://www.youtube.com/@ReelRejectsClips Follow TheReelRejects On The Socials: IG: https://www.instagram.com/reelrejects/ TT: https://www.tiktok.com/@thereelrejects?lang=en TWITTER: https://twitter.com/thereelrejects FB: https://www.facebook.com/TheReelRejects/ Music Used In Ad: Hat the Jazz by Twin Musicom is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license. https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/ Happy Alley by Kevin MacLeod is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license. https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/ Head Editor: https://www.instagram.com/prapermedia Supervising Producer: https://twitter.com/nerdchronic?lang=en Co-Editor: Greg Alba Co-Editor: John Humphrey Music In Video: Airport Lounge - Disco Ultralounge by Kevin MacLeod is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license. https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/ Follow & Listen to Us Wherever You Get Your Podcasts!! - Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/3XHMwbveiznxSOGxN9XT0M - Google Podcasts: https://podcasts.google.com/feed/aHR0cHM6Ly9mZWVkcy5tZWdhcGhvbmUuZm0vc3Rhci13YXJzLXRhbGs - Apple Podcasts: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-reel-rejects-tv-movie-recaps/id1616339990 - Audible: https://www.audible.com/pd/The-Apocalypse-Podcast/B08JJP58FG PLAYLISTS: Trailer Reactions & Reviews: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL-bIhJVeYWw9ZsLdoAQFpx38s2hhyFgDe Movie Reviews: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL-bIhJVeYWw-comtadVs8b9JsZEWHUyr8 Movie Talk (News, Spoiler Reviews, & Film Rumors!!!): https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL-bIhJVeYWw8fPQ-21NVSb2IOwIiHbVt8 Youtube Video Reactions & Discussions: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL-bIhJVeYWw_qwcPsN_vOxXC6IVzrOQYG Sketches & Short Films: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL-bIhJVeYWw_zWuTRfBOUP3aYyIYRzc2y

Albert Blithe didn't attend the reunions so the surviving members of the 501st thought he had died. He served in Korea and died in '67

It's funny you mentioning Dexter Fletcher being a British actor because about half the entire cast is actually British

Bull Randleman had 2 bayonet fights. The first one isn't shown in the series but it happened right after parachuting into Normandy. They left it out because it was too unbelievable that it would happen more than once.

Nixon taking a bullet to the helmet was the most heart-stopping moment so far imo

Per the question in episode 3: E company is always exposed because they are the assault company of the battalion. Their training included how to be the bleeding edge of the action. Also “Easy 6, Easy Red 6” is callsigns. The company had 3 platoons, callsigns Red White and Blue. 6 is commander/leader, so Winters is Easy 6. Welsh is radioing in as Easy Red 6, because he was first platoon leader.

The segments at the beginning with the real guys are from a documentary called "We Stand Alone, Together" that came out as like a companion to the series. Highly recommend.

Blithe was not lying, he was a typical case of Hysterical Blindness after Carentan. Stress, high adrenaline spikes, fear, all risk factors. Back in the day these things were unknown, like PTSD was called Shellshock. There are records from WW1 and 2 of soldiers with symptoms so severe that they fought, bite and hit their doctors when confronted with sound triggers, smells or even bright ligths.

Band of Brothers cost $125 million in the year 2000. So about $230 million today
