I have been going to the protest rallies; mainly 14th&U sts NW (Black Broadway). Sitting on the sidelines was never an option for me. I’ve been protesting since the “NO KINGS” and “FREE PALESTINE” Rallies. We live in a very privileged time where we can take up that mantle that MLK, John Lewis, Rosa Parks, Malcolm X, Stokely Carmichael and a host of others passed down. But it takes coalitions. I’m in an organization comprised of experienced protests of different hues. We can’t do this alone. And if you can’t get out, donate. Join online discussion groups. We all have a part to play.
