This was a very informative town hall. SAU is in a sad situation. I pray that the Board will take action to save this university.

I attended Shaw university in the 90’s which is minutes from St Aug’s and both schools were thriving back then, you never would have thought this would happen…😔

Uncle RoRo, thank you for holding this town hall. Well overdue. Calling out the political reps to hold them accountable was priceless. My heart hurts for St. Aug, my dear old Bennett College and all of our treasured HBCUs that are on the brink of extinction. There is truly still a need for HBCUs.

The HBCU needs board members who truly care about the school instead of the current ones who appear to be responsible for the situation the school is now in. I pray for better governance for this school, the ones who are dedicated staff that are still there having faith that change is coming, and new leadership.❤😢

The gentlemen on the last panel was absolutely correct,its a land grand both schools are minutes from downtown and midtown. Multi-million dollar homes ,condo and apartments are popping up all over the area where there was once blight. These board members have sided with the big money intetest of DC and other big cities to enrich themselves and ehance their self interest. This was very enlighting . Thank you Roland

Boards are accountable to the Stakeholders. They can be checked. They can be held liable for corporate malfeasance. Criminal charges should be filed. That will get their asses to stepping! Why hasn't that been done?

I love Roland's Town Halls. This is one of many reasons why it's important for us to give, and keep this going. (we cant get this ANYWHERE)

It's sad to see the conditions of that campus.

I graduated in 1980 when SAU was thriving under the leadership of Dr Prezell Robinson. This is a self-inflicted wound, that's constanting bleeding.
