In respect to the last story, if his hobby is being prioritized over the rest of his life and commitments, that's not a hobby, that's an obsession.
Story 1: LOOOOL god i would have given ANYTHING to be a fly on the wall watching this idiot try and defend himself😂😂
*2nd Story:* Did anyone else pick up how the neighbour's son wanted to pay OP directly instead of paying his parents to pay OP in turn? Something tells me this isn't the first time his parents (or at least his dad) tried to scam him out of his money.
For story 2 and this is exactly why you don't put a fence ON THE PROPERTY LINE. And the husband is a grade A asshole
Story 3: This is why a hobby is great way to meet people. If they're just as obsessed as you are with it, you can spend time together doing the hobby.
For story 1, the way I see it is.If you're going to try to go someone else's job, at least be good at your own first
Bro couldn’t even do his own job, the higher ups would have to be lobotomized to think he can just take over OP’s position.
Story 2: I can tell the dad has a history of causing trouble with fences, he got on the defense pretty quickly once confronted. But honestly, don't use a fence as a backdrop for knife throwing, you risk carving a hole through the fence and potentially stabbing something (or someone) on the other side.
Story 3: I like my hobbies, I like drawing and playing games, but I also know that it isn't healthy to be choosing that over spending time with loved ones all the time. Y'know, ya sometimes gotta put aside the hobbies in question, there's always time for that later. But honestly I just know there's people out there going "Man are we just not allowed to have hobbies?" whenever a situation like this comes up
Sailing was the last OP’s ex’s love of his life, OP was just the hobby.
