Story 1: Unclear? She died my guy. She died from sheer irresponsibility from trying to be responsible for the wrong thing at the wrong time.

Story 1: Unfortunately, "hit by a semi" usually translates to "fatal car crash." I feel bad for the truck driver. Even knowing there was no way you could stop in time, that's an awful thing to go through.

Yes Rslash. Their mother died. That's what OP in the first story meant. It is EXTREMELY RARE to survive getting hit by a semi.

Story 1: Can i just say how refreshing it is when everyone in the story is actually on the CORRECT side… Like how many times do we hear stories where a spouse does something dangerous, stupid or idiotic and their parents say to Op “oh you’re overreacting” or something like that. Op the fact that her parents and her Ex husband are on your side should be a good indication that you’re doing the right thing. Run fast and protect those kids

"She thinks we're being unfair because she loves her kids and would never intentionally harm them." She'll just unintentionally harm her kids, then?

Why the heck is it that the courts refuse to take people's license away when they are proven to be a danger to them selves and others, if someone keeps getting in car accidents because they are clueless then they should have their licenses and keys taken away and any vehicle they have taken away of they are single.

If op hadn’t taken charge with that divorce, all 4 kids would’ve died in that crash. It’s sad but also pathetic. She was in such denial that she killed herself

The first story is very sad. My mother is that kind of driver, and has crashed every single car she has owned. Sad to say, but luckily none of the kids were in the car when she had the fatal accident. I'm assuming the dog passed as well. A senseless waste of life.

The fact that the woman's negligent driving habits almost certainly ended with her getting an innocent dog killed makes me so mad. She should not have been allowed behind the wheel of anything.
