OP was upset about missing the movie, but the girl was drawn into the spontaneity: the silly skateboarding scene, the awkward hug, the condom “belt”. It sounds ridiculous, but that’s real life, no script, no filter. Many relationships fail because we stick to our schedules, while connections grow from the twists and turns. If OP had let go of her obsession with “being on time, having a plan,” she might have realized that the second date showed them more about each other than any 3D movie.

Ok, I’m glad it wasn’t “I invited a homeless guy to a party just to mess with him” and was instead “I got high and invited a homeless guy to a party.” And chaos notwithstanding, at least the guy got a free storm trooper costume out of it.

I’m so glad the Munchausen story worked out. My advice would’ve been to talk to the school nurse or counselor, but it sounds like this worked out better. Kudos to that medical team for having OP’s back and taking things so seriously. I’m glad the mom is getting help.

Lmfao that guy and his girlfriend got THE date story of a lifetime. This is the kind of story they’ll get to tell at their wedding (if they get that far) and it’ll have the whole party in tears from laughing so hard. That kind of thing is truly priceless.

in the color blind one if I was the BF I would be thrilled because if my GF go this worked up and felt this bad about lying about being color blind the chance of her lying about something actually important or cheating on me is like 0. The story proves OP is a keeper.
