r/AITA for Refusing to Buy My In-Laws a House?

There’s an update to the first post, turns out one of the HR reps is Jake’s cousin and they were both investigated and subsequently fired. It’s why Jake got away with this nonsense for so long, he had his buddy cover for him.

S1: there’s an update, apparently Jake’s cousin is a HR that’s why he got of easy the first time. Needless to say both Jake and his cousin got fired.

I would pay off the mortgage but set up a contract for repayment... if they don't pay he gets the house.

Last story: "You always do that though." What? Holding a mirror in front of her and she doesn't like what she sees? The horror!

Story 2: OP doesn’t need another woman in his life to do that for him, because his mom already does that for him. That’s something his dad will literally never understand.

Story 4: once on my way to school, me and some kids words spread out on the front seat of the bus. Lady comes on the bus and we all scooted over so she can have the last seat. She gets mad and asked “ I thought someone was going to get up for me”, then begrudgingly sat down. For the rest of the ride she complained about kids having no respect for elder. She was actually mad that no one gave up their seat so she could have extra space in a crowded bus. Trust me, you will find some of the rudest entitled people taking the public bus.

Anyone that says they’re brutally honest are just liars, they don’t care about honesty they’re just bullies that enjoy tearing people down under the guise of “the truth”, and like most bullies Jake can dish it but can’t take it.

Story 1: Doods who can dish it out (but never take it) are PATHETIC, to say the least.

Last story: I mean, what is OP doing? Not let his wife criticize someone for doing the exact same thing she did? Personally, I get wanting a specific gender in mind when having a baby, but if it’s that deep then maybe you don’t need kids. At the end of the day you’re gonna get what you get it.

It's one thing to say: "I don't think this is working anymore. Let's divorce." It's another thing to say: "I was always ready to leave you at a moment's notice and I was only with you because I was waiting for someone better. Let's divorce."
