Story 3: Please explain how Op is being petty…? He went through exactly what his wife did and her response was always “this is how the chore chart works” but now that the shoe is on the otter foot she has a problem? No wife is a hypocrite and Op is NTA

She doesn't care about being fair, she just doesn't want to do chores lmao. She'll teleport the goalposts across the universe to avoid doing any housework

Third story: OP is NOT being petty. The wife is a hypocrite and OP is struggling to realize this.

Third story : that wife sounds like a straight hypocrite. She doesn't want to do chores when she has to watch the child cause she feels that's the breadwinner job but now that she is the breadwinner she feels that's the stay at home parent job... Straight hypocrite

Nah, the third OP isn’t petty in any way, shape, or form, he just has self respect and doesn’t want to be walked all over by his lazy and hypocritical wife.

What I love about story 2 is that BF's parents first heard about the story on Reddit before they even knew it was him.

The chore chart story: How is OP petty for having equal roles for each other? When his wife stayed home with the kids, they eventually agreed on the share of responsibilities. Then she finds herself in his role and doesn't want to participate anymore? We don't know for sure as he could be lying, but he says he's leaving the house cleaner than she would. He would be petty if he was purposefully leaving it way messier but he isn't from what is being told to us.

What mental load is she carrying. He’s practically holding up the world like Atlas and the number of her responsibilities can all be counted on one hand.
