Not all citizens in America made a lot of money. My Mother worked 80 hours a week as a waitress, when she came home we would count the change and decide if we could buy 39 cent chicken pot pies or chicken, Swanson TV dinners. We were born white in the USA. I thank my Mother for all she did for us, her family.
Petition to have “the good friend Jason from SIG” on as a guest!
It’s funny he so down played his C- psychology degree but then goes on to explain how he is able to do a whole psych evaluation on these start up executives. Great interview! Very engaging
Remember. It's about who you know, Not what you know.
This is my first time hearing “laser enrichment technology”… Here. We. Go.
Thank you, Shawn Ryan, for bringing on truly inspiring and driven American technology innovators
I worked at NASA back in 2001. One of my colleagues in the Education branch gave a lecture on nanotechnology. He said, "Nanotechnology is still in the Stone Age." After hearing Mr. Yu, my mind is blown!
Jay Yu's vision of energy security is extremely important to our country and is often overlooked by government planners and investors. Only now are they beginning to realize the importance of reliable power generation because of the planned data centers consuming estimated gigawatts of electrical power. I remember when the first Gulf War began and people around the workplace were complaining that we are fighting over oil. My response was that we need to become energy independent if we don't want to become involved with the Middle East conflicts. I also mentioned that energy security is part of our national security, even back then.
If this technology got scaled down to local communities or households, it would take the power out of national politicians. A win in my book!
Old school man... well educated, culture at high level, no braging, humble... natural.. excelent...
