My dad at 89 died of horrific bone cancer .. for years he suffered. My heart is broken. He was so strong and brave right to the end … He had a hard life :).. Rip Dad . You were a great Man
Straight guy here, this dude has class, is handsom and has a great style! This is a great episode
What I really enjoyed about this podcast is that Dr. Jandial brings a very humane perspective of things - while a lot of times we listen to podcasts that are focused on action lists and to-dos, he brings a humble view that he is still trying and figuring out coping mechanisms like all of us.
"If the injured brain can recover, well what about our healthy brain." I like that!
And really appreciate how Mel lets Dr. Jandial talk without interrupting. Just a master class in interviewing.
He's amazing...being a Cancer survivor...it hit my soul. Live life..as best you can with intentional power. ❤️✝️
When I was recovering from colon cancer, one of the hardest battles was surrounding despair and hopelessness that would consume me. I was fortunate to have a coach who would walk me through the downward spirals and get me out of them. I think that this is very important to recovery --- the psychological battles you have and how to win them. Choosing your narrative is a great start, but honestly, I didn't find any books or literature about this. Nothing very helpful anyway. I'm so thankful I had a coach, but not many people do. A book with depth and breadth about this is very much needed.
Dr. Rahul Jandial is amazing. I have been following him for years with absolute awe. What a gift to humanity.
This is the only person that's been on this show that i feel is down to earth, smart, personable, and relatable. ❤
Feeling lost isn’t failure; it’s often a sign you’re outgrowing your current life and ready for a new direction. Clarity doesn’t come all at once; it comes from taking small steps forward even when you don’t have all the answers.
