At the age of 42 I have become happily obsessed with mathematics. I can't get enough. I started relearning all the math I used to know, and learning and practicing all the math topics I hadn't learned. I am delighting in math puzzles and science that involves math. Over the years I knew I loved math but I never gave myself permission to go for it. It's never too late to pursue what you love. I figure that if I am obsessively putting in hours of attention per day on math, then in a few years I'll have mastery over some areas of it and perhaps contribute somehow. I don't know, but learning and practicing math is a reward in itself.
The title " The Only Career Skill That Survives AI " is misleading because it promises a single career that AI cannot replace, while the interview actually explains that no job is inherently safe and that the real protection comes from deep expertise, curiosity, and effective use of AI.
Well grounded interview! I really liked his advice on asking yourself - "Do I see myself doing this 30 years from now?" This perspective gives a real understanding of whether you really like what you are doing or not
What's the biggest career decision you're staring at right now?
I have no idea who he is, but one of the most informative and great takes in the game
AI prompts are becoming a powerful way to turn messy workflows into structured action plans. Really interesting space right now.
Thanks!
Great interview without fear mongering! Thanks for the advice
In my local library, I just placed hold as the 67th in line for the book.
Awesome interview👍
