It's odd. The people that can admit and say "I don't know" are usually not the ones spreading misinformation. While the people spreading it always have a flimsy answer for everything.
Always an honor to try and fix the world - with science, humor and storytelling - with my man Neil deGrasse Tyson on StarTalk. Thanks for having me again!
My favorite scientific catchphrase is, extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.
Wonderful interview with Dr. Noc. He is an exemplary science communicator, and I hope his audience will continue to grow.
Hearing someone say "I don't know," is wildly refreshing.
The importance of this conversation (around science misinformation/antivax movements etc) cannot be overstated.
You should invite the doc again to debunk more misinformation
