The fact that Chuck understands quantum tunneling well enough to describe it in understandable terms while being humble enough to call himself ignorant astounds me. Chuck, you are a class act and a treasure. Love the show!
These types of shows should be encouraged in schools
I did not expect to suddenly understand quantum tunneling from Chuck.
New cadets. New era. Infinite possibilities. Catch a new episode of Star Trek: Starfleet Academy every Thursday starting Jan. 15th on Paramount+.
Please, bring more Nobel Prize topics, ideally with their authors. This episode was perfect. I love catching up on the “Nobel” topics.
Listening to this while standing at the cat clinic, the cat ahead of us is named Schrödinger. They are trying to decide whether it is in or out of the cage. I was thinking that if I was a horticulturist like Luther Burbank and was working on a new pear variant, I would name it Cooper.
This guy was my professor back in 05’, I still think about him sometimes I so happy others can see what he’s all about
Chuck has earned a Doctorate from this episode alone. He understands everything more than all of us now
What’s crazy is, my algorithm brought me here. Not YouTube, but the quantum state vectors that exist as me brought me here, in this timeline.
About to graduate as a Mechanical Engineer, I’m so proud of Chuck for referring to the atmosphere as a fluid for fluid dynamic computation. Dudes on it.
