Description

With the advent of oceanic bathymetry, we've begun mapping the topography of the world's oceans, and though only about 5% of the oceans have been explored (if that), some stunning and mysterious discoveries have already been made which remain unexplainable to mainstream science. What secrets are hiding in the DEEP ABYSS of Earth's oceans? Geophysicist Stefan Burns explores... I’m sailing from Australia to China in the next few days passing Guam where we will jump off the yacht and take a swim right over that trench. It’s my second time doing this race and I feel very connected to the sea

Wow, that meditation. This is completely goofy but I'll share anyway: I floated down to that dark place. I felt awe but also calm. I knew conscious life was there but couldn't see. Then I briefly saw a face. Two big black eyes in a head shaped like Kermit the Frog's - but darker green and not made of felt. The face vanished. I felt an energy at the depths but a much different kind of energy from being on land. I asked 'What are you doing down here?' and my mind heard, "Living." There are so many varieties of life and so much we don't know. I floated back up through the varying lights. Ta'

In your weaving together these very different areas of study/research it gives your work an incredibly powerful, wholistic and unique perspective on the ways the universe works. Any one (single) area could see the spectrum of its own metrics, that are a more narrow bandwidth, combining these seemingly disparate things like astrology and science gives a much richer and complete picture of how the universe works
