I wonder for how many years we'll still see cornstar theo
Wow this was recorded almost a year ago. I wasn't sure about posting it, but my team really liked this one so we decided to share it. Hope it helps you out ❤
I've only been following your channel this year, and you've changed your whole head at least three times. Just subscribed.
This resonated so well with my experience. I'm currently working way above my threshold on a daily basis as a solo developer for a project fresh out of uni, and BY GOD i feel like I'm losing my mind. I had to learn about building out email notification systems last week, and this week I am probably learning SEO basics and analytics from scratch. The idea of being bored at work feels like a happy dream at this point.
13:37 - really?
OK, this is honestly the best theory I've heard so far that would explain my burnout a couple years ago. My job I've been doing for 10 years seriously only switches between "no clue what will happen within the next 4 hours " and "I will deal with this one repair job for the next 2-4 months"
“Change energy” is a great way to describe this. I’ve found time blocking tasks to be a great way to mitigate this.
Theo you’re good at a lot of things, but you’re especially good at visualizing complex concepts and talking about them.
Really interesting perspective. This was definitely worth creating and posting. Felt like something clicked when I looked at myself and things I hear other people say about burn out and stress through this lense.
Dude write a book on this topic! Include a lot of your drawn visualizations they are amazing!
