Range of emotions: - Wow that's bad. - "Intranet" – ok not as bad as I thought. - "... is public facing" - nevermind, it's really really bad.
Hold on, did i just see a piece of code that downloads the entire user database to the client, then authenticates from the client?
I can imagine that the `"true" === "true"` is the result of some sort of unchecked search-and-replace refactoring.
There is no way that code is not a prank. Not even YandereDev would be capable of writing that 🤣
"What's wrong with this code?" as an interview question would tell me a LOT about a developer
