More knowledge here than VW service dealer 👌🏼 keep it up
Surprisingly, the Aisin transmissions used in these are made in Japan.
Hope they sell lots of these. Have just purchased a tow truck business.
Having owned many German cars, including several VWs, it is sad to see how quality has deteriorated over the past several years. The amount of plastic in the engine and overly complex electronics has finally forced me to buy Japanese. What a difference!
talking about hood latches. I think their role is as follows: Crash load management The hood is prevented from shifting rearward toward the windshield during a severe frontal impact. Loads are distributed into both fender/apron structures rather than relying solely on the center latch. Pedestrian protection The hood can be precisely located and guided during deformation. Modern hood structures are engineered to buckle in predetermined ways. High-speed stability The hood is constrained at multiple points, reducing flutter and shake.
I leased the Subaru Forester Hybrid as a result of your recommended review of the Toyota hybrid marriage to the Boxer engine. Thanks and keep up the good work
I purchased the 2026 SE R-Line Black.. It has a lot of the features this has, but much cheaper.. It's a wonderful vehicle. I enjoy every moment driving it.
Thanks Ahmed for all your amazing reviews, I am very eager to watch your review of the Porsche Cayenne and Mercedes GLE
We had a 2004 Jetta wagon TDI. It was a great car…went 13 years and 300,000 km. It was bulletproof. Best car we’ve ever owned. I tried to replace it but with Diesel gate and all it was pretty hard to do. Since then VW quality just isn’t what it once was. We traded a Subaru for that TDI and have gone back to Subaru.
Excellent technical review of a vehicle this 2026 VW Tiguan SEL R-Line. I have seen some on the road & looked at one recently at the dealership where my sister purchased a 2026 Jetta SE, and came away impressed. I really really like the look all the way round the vehicle. Front end, side profile, rear end design looks quite handsome & sophisticated in all respects. Interior is also amazing. Luv listening to your technical reviews of the many vehicles you have shown us. I’m not a mechanic just someone who luvs cars, SUV’s. And listening to you talk about the modern technology the engine technology and the design from a technician’s standpoint is extremely entertaining yes but also very informative because your a TOP VEHICLE MECHANIC. Your incredible knowledge & expertise from someone who knows what he speaks. Thank you!
