Subaru sales would be stronger if they could find someone to fix their infotainment. I'm looking forward to when they replace it.
This would be a perfect hybrid crossover/wagon vehicle if Subaru didn't insist on using its ancient feeling infotainment with HVAC buried in it. It's insane that the main interface needs to "warm up" before it becomes just barely functional.
I bought this car 2 months ago, have 9,000 miles on it, just finished a 3,500 mile road trip cross country. I absolutely love it. and it didn't struggle to get up the mountains in Northern Arizona.
I like the fact that this car is still Made in Japan.
Love how Toyota and Subaru are working together once again.
I wish all automakers would go back to a simple button, switch, knob center stack instead of those stupid touch screen systems with stuff buried in menus that require you to take your eyes off the road just to do anything...terrible idea, and should be made illegal given everyone is against distracted driving, and they even have those systems that like you mentioned beep at you telling you to pay attention, etc...how the hell can you when you gotta take your eyes off the road just to change the radio station, turn the fan speed up or down, change your HVAC temp, etc. Stupidest idea ever to have started putting tablets in every vehicle.
Subaru should hire designers 😂
Really the best way for car reviews to watch and understand the value, cost and where you invest your money on. Not like what we used to watch on youtube. I like 👍🏻
The thing that really bothers me about it is that the spare tire tub is so clearly there and just empty - which you can see if you pull the foam piece that sits rear of the battery. All that wasted space under the battery and no spare tire in a car that's built to take places where roadside assistance isn't going to help you. I'm a huge Subaru fan, but that's ridiculous.
The biggest disappointment of this car isn’t the infotainment, it’s the lack of a spare tire Also I love the “this transmission is allegedly from a Toyota” bit
