I am so exasperated by these people who say the coming AI replacement is a great opportunity “if we share the wealth”. We have complete abundance now. Every person on this planet could be fed. We don’t do that. There would have to be a complete reprogramming of everyone on the planet away from capitalism to suddenly become great sharers. And it’s even more incredible to hear such nonsense come directly after 30 minutes of examples proving that every nation in the world is totally driven by self-interest.

Could you bring a non american Middle East expert on this show? There are plenty of them and it is really tiring to listen only to the US view and unhistorical or selective perspectives.

I can almost guarantee my comment will get overlooked, but we get these podcast with extremely powerful and informative people and I’m glad we can do that. I was wondering if one of these videos we could get a local farmer or a local worker to get what they go through and hear how they are trying screw our farm lands

At this point in time I'm in two minds whether or not we can call ourselves an intelligent species with free will.

Oh snap, Ian Bremmer on the pod, right on! As an IR grad, I've been following Ian for years, and his analysis is not always exact but he connects the dots between national figures and foreign policy incredibly well which allows one to surmise where certain news events are headed far better than simply reading periodicals.
