Data centers are not just being built for AI, they are being built for control and surveillance.

I’m two seconds in and…. Humans absolutely will weaponize AI against us. How do I know? Look at all of human history. Boy, that was easy.

Former AI developer here. Hear Mo Gawdat's message to heart. I regret my past, regret that I helped companies to build AI's at all. I can't undo history but I left the AI industry when I saw companies were starting to plan on using AI in unethical ways that I could not stand by. I've lost a lot of money over the years but as far as I am concerned that is the sacrifice I made because I don't want to be part of the destruction of humanity and the world. There has got to be better ways to use AI than pure greed, and we need to do better than this. To remember ethics, not just our bank accounts. So I've joined among many other former and current AI developers in advocating for regulations, change of how we think about economies and the role of money in our world and what is our place in it. Maybe we are fighting a losing battle but all of us should do what we can to steer and orient this world to a better tomorrow rather than submit to the will of the oligarchs evil desires. The fight is not over yet, we can still change the direction of it all.

Loved watching the previous podcast with him and this one too. Thank you for trying to restore humanity, MO. In a world full of corruption, let's use our voices to speak for the voiceless, despite being in the minority

Steven keeps asking every entrepreneur guest whats the solution to all this AI job loss, not everyone can be an Entrepreneur. I'm reminded of the quote "It is difficult to get a man to understand something when his salary depends upon his not understanding it."

Mo Gawdat stands out as one of the rare voices today who combines deep wisdom with genuine humility. In a world full of loud experts and self-proclaimed gurus, he speaks with quiet confidence, never arrogance. His insights on happiness, consciousness, and the future of AI feel earned—not from ego, but from real experience, profound loss, and relentless curiosity. He doesn't talk down to people; he invites them to think alongside him. If I could choose one contemporary thinker to listen to and learn from, it would be him. He's the kind of wise man who makes you feel smarter and calmer just by engaging with his ideas. True role model. Respect. 🙏
