Whether or not she’s guilty it sure seems like the police department left a ton of room for reasonable doubt.
This is the first case I'm watching, where I have heard absolutely nothing beforehand. In the words of EDB "Convince Me!"
Haven't finished watching yet, but even 5 minutes into the defense's opening, they are CRUSHING the prosecution in terms of effectiveness. This is going to be a wild one.
My daughter is a creative writing major that wants to go to law school. The difference between these two openings perfectly illustrates why majors other than poli-sci should consider law school. The ability to construct a clear, consistent, logical story from bits of evidence and effectively communicate that story is absolutely essential in trial.
If someone was found in our front yard, I would have FLOWN out of the house to find out who and what happened, how can I help?
I can not explain how excited I am to be watching another live trial with EDB!! I
As a second-trial-only viewer coming back out of curiosity for the first trial - I love the character arc of the fan. From "i hate this fan why is it here" all the way to "let's put up our emotional support fan" 10/10 character development
Went into this case with 0% information. Prosecutor opening I was falling asleep, defense opening… now I’m interested. So many questions, that’s one of the best defense openings I’ve seen.
I was ready to QUIT this trial already listening to the prosecution opening statement- thank goodness the defense brought the 🔥! We live here now!
Mr. Yanetti delivered a masterful opening statement. I could listen to him talk all day.
