I’m beyond frustrated with the Scott Peterson thing. Laci was an acquaintance in high school. A sweet girl with a gorgeous smile. Who deserves justice so she can rest in peace.

The fact they did all this to get the kids closer to them and now they are all in jail is really the kicker in all this

How stupid can anyone be to assume they would get away with a murder for hire plot in this day and age, let alone having a connection with the victim? the stupidity of humans never ceases to amaze me.

Wendi should be charged, too. She knew enough to be guilty, no matter how you look at it, purely from evidence. When she drive by Dan's street and saw there was a crime scene, she didn't check if her kids were safe (even though they were with their dad). When she was told Dan was shot she didn't ask about her children at all (when she had no reason to suspect they weren't there when it happened). When the cops told her to call her family she stalled, implying she was worried they would implicate themselves (because she knew they were capable). She confided in her ex boyfriend that her brother was looking into hitmen (so she clearly took that seriously). Knowingly endangering your kids' other parent is at the very least abusive to your kids.

Fun fact, the reason why Southern Californians say "the 405" or whatever for freeways instead of "I-405" or whatever is because the first freeways in the country were here - the interstate system was based on our freeways. At that time the freeways were named after whatever city they terminated in, such as "the San Diego Freeway" (aka the 5) or "the Santa Monica freeway" (the 10). So when freeways changed from city names to numbers, we kept the "the" and just changed from city names to numbers.
