When I first heard these allegations I thought “of course, they’re looking for ANYTHING to get a new trial”. Now? I agree with them. Yeah I think dude is guilty as hell, but this woman effed with the system. That really can’t be allowed to stand without degrading faith in the system.

I believe Courthouse Becky will be the reason Murdaugh will get a new trial.

The thing that convinced me on Murdaugh was “Pawpaw” instead of “Paul.” It was a distancing move that just screamed for attention every time he said it. I wonder if Creighton would be more succinct in a retrial. And if Poot and Jim would manage to keep the door shut on the financial crimes.

I think the elected officials in Colleton County and Hampton County, to a great extent, are just so accustomed to the corruption in the system that they play the same game and don’t think about the consequences. Hopefully that’s changing now.

Murdaugh will almost certainly get his retrial. One thing that bugs me is the state should never had tried this in this county or any court Murdaugh practiced.
