This is my former dentist and I have been a fan of Emily for years. This crossover is one that has hit in such an odd way but appreciate the coverage of all of this.
Retired California lawyer here: I live in Ohio and this case is all over the news. It is an interesting case and I hope you continue to follow for us Nerds. I’m currently in NV after driving 9 states over 3 days so I’m very behind in my true crime homework. Thank you my fellow counsel Ms B, Esq.
Had my dentist no call/no show one day. No one at the office seemed concerned. Turns out he was in jail. For attempting to hire a hitman. To kill his wife. Because he wanted to marry the hygienist. Whom he knocked up. He was also addicted to cocaine. I don’t go there anymore.
This case hits so hard; to see two people so obviously in love and so happy, and two babies. Incredibly heartbreaking. It is hard to believe someone who studied for so many years, with a great career, is willing to throw all that away for revenge.
I'm a former hygienist. Any office I worked in, we'd definitely be calling for a wellness check. Dentists don't just not show up for scheduled patients unless there's something weird going on.
I really appreciate the work that EDB and moderators do to maintain the decorum that Emily has referenced in this. You all are a shining example that an online community can hold all types of opinions while still engaging with each other and the world in a respectable way. I wish more live-streamers worked to foster a community like this. Sending love from Canada.
When I was 4 years old, I'd wake up and go to my parents bedroom.
I don’t find it strange at all that his coworkers were calling him and went to his house. I’m a dispatcher for a bus service. If I didn’t show up for work and didn’t call I’d have numerous coworkers calling and someone(s) would be at my door.
Thank you EDB for having a no fuckery place to hear the facts re: the Tepe case. All of the speculation presented as facts in other spaces is so gross. The lunacy of saying no forced entry absolutely equals an affair makes me want to scream.
I wouldn't even trust Morrisey with my peanut butter and jelly sandwich, tbh
