OSHA’s purpose is to ensure employers do everything possible to keep their employees safe. They’ll never blame an employee. The employee’s actions are a seen as a reflection of the company’s safety culture.
I think he understands the armorers job, what he’s saying is that if she isn’t doing her job then it’s management’s job to make sure she is and correct it. They found that management didn’t care if it was being done or not.
I think the OSHA Rep scores BIG in HGR’s favor!
So far I have no doubt that Hannah is definitely partly responsible for this accident. What I'm not entirely sure of is if her negligence amounts to a criminal act yet.
I think the fact that Dave halls was given merely a tap on the wrist, and he was as culpable or may be more so, they won’t convict Hannah. I think, as poorly as both these attorneys have done, the defense has done a good job, pointing out that Dave halls was guilty too, if Hannah is guilty
One of the major issues was she literally did not have one job… and management was asking her to do the second over the “one job”
Armorers generally have the authority to remove all weapons and ammo from the set if they can't get compliance. Rust didn't hire or want an armorer. Interviewing armorers in relation to this case is as big a joke as this case is.
The problem is complainers don't get rehired... People don't want to hire "complainers" aka people who speak up or try to enforce management to do things properly.
OSHA proves that the entire culture of the workplace was dangerous… it helps here for hgr
I think the osha guy is saying Hannah complained and zero action was taken to make it safer. The report is bad. She was being yelled at for doing armorer and wanted her to do more prop. This is bad. Not having time to inventory ammo is a a big thing as well. That does hinder her job and she was complaining. Wow! It is starting to feel yucky to bring criminal charges with her and let everyone else walk that was in the chain including pickle
