Flock Cameras Are Turning The U.S. Into A Mass Surveillance Superstate!

In this segment Jimmy and Americans’ Comedian Kurt Metzger discuss Flock Safety cameras, the solar-powered, AI-driven license plate readers installed on over 5,000 communities nationwide that create a de facto mass surveillance network tracking every vehicle's location, time, and unique identifiers, with data stored on Amazon Web Services and shared across jurisdictions without meaningful public oversight. Jimmy highlights a case where a Colorado man named Kyle Dausman has been repeatedly pulled over because Flock cameras falsely flag his license plate for a warrant that doesn't exist, and neither he nor the police can remove him from the system since the error stems from confusion between the letter O and the number zero in his plate. Jimmy points out that Flock's founder called public efforts to map camera locations "terrorism," while civil liberties advocates warn that the system enables "broad warrantless queries across time and geography, turning roads into constantly monitored spaces." He concludes that America now has "China-style social credit" surveillance without any of the benefits—no universal healthcare, no high-speed rail, no functioning infrastructure—and that once cash is eliminated entirely, "your freedom is over."
